Back in San Diego

We left Tahoe on Saturday morning, July 5, after celebrating 4th of July with friends at Ron and Colleen's house. The drive back to San Diego was great--not many people on the road. Glad we didn't wait for Sunday. As we arrived near San Bernardino, you can smell the smoke in the air from the Santa Barbara fire. By the time we reached Riverside, it was so hazy--like the typical week for Smog Angeles.

Good thing it wasn't so bad in San Diego. We arrived around 6pm and found the yard in a minor state of calamity. Water was leaking from the faucet and by the looks of the swimming pool (algae green instead of ocean blue), it has been leaking for days. I immediately ran downstairs to turn off the faucet. Matt went into the downstairs bedrooms to see if it has reached inside the house. Lucky for us, it was just outside.

Anyway..it wasn't a major one so we went to bed early and decided to look at it the next day.

Sunday was spent cleaning. I banished Matt and Nikita to the rec room while I vacuumed, dusted, hosed and setup the upstairs deck.

Now we are set to take care of the rest.....
