It's been a long time since we planned a vacation. Well...we travel a lot but we don't consider those vacations. Besides, we usually go to places where we either have a place to stay or scheduled meetings and people to meet.
In one month, we are travelling to visit friends in Greece. Matt already booked our flights months ago. And I knew that we will be landing in Athens on April 29. And leaving on May 7 for Sweden to visit family. What happens between April 29 and May 7 is the big question mark.
We sat down and looked at our schedule so we can book hotels. Wow! I didn't know it would be this difficult. Not to mention horrendously expensive. The Euro/USD rate is now at 1.6. Ouch.!
Anyways, the plan is to stay in Athens for a few days then fly to see our friends in Leros Island. After hours of research on the internet, we decided to take a 3-day cruise to the other Greek islands and then take the ferry to Leros instead of flying.
So far, we are in contact with 4 travel agents in addition to Amex Concierge. We'll see what happens.
Anybody has any suggestions on where to go?

about your valero unit, thanks ninang! I'll check it with papa and mama, because we're already thinking of arranging papa's sched. he'll stay and sleep in his office until 12, then pick me up. maybe that would work as papa is "masa" (masanadal tulog) :)
