I was expecting turbulance because of the storm over the Pacific. Save for a couple of bumpy spots, the 14 hour nonstop flight from San Francisco to Manila was smooth. We left on time at 9:45 pm on Sunday, Feb 24 and arrived here in Manila a few hours ago at 3:58 am February 26 local time. It was still dark when we landed. Showers was in the forecast and you can tell from the wet roads that it has been raining. The temperature is at 25 degrees Celsius.
The drive to our office/apartment at Salcedo Village took only 20 minutes (or even less). One of the good things about arriving early in the day. Not many cars...yet.
Matt is already taking a nap while I put together his "office". Laptop, printer, router, flash drive....geezz... I hope I can finish all these before 8:00 am as I plan to go over to the Sports Club and have some "pampering" of my own at the Beauty Parlor and Spa. Unfortunately, I had to rebuild the computer here in the office which will probably take all day.
