Days 4-8: Cruise and Leros

Yes, we finally had internet access so I will post a very short blog until I can get to a high-speed one and post more pictures. Just want to let you all know, the cruise to MYKONOS, RODOS AND PATMOS was fantastic!!! I brought a pedometer and we logged in at least 7,000 steps in every tour we took for each island! Wow! I could barely do 4,000 steps in San Diego. And these are elevated ones. In Rodos, we had to climb at least 300 slippery steps to get to the top to see the Acropolis of Lindos--the temple they built for Athena. It may sound so similar but the stories behind them are so interesting. And if you see people in canes and walkers climbing the darn thing without any complaints--geez--who am I to b****h about it! Hah!

Matt was such a trouper. He took lots of great pictures while I took videos. You would think we were reporting for the National Geographic with all our equipment.

Alrighty...I will post a lengthier one later. We have been in Leros since Sunday and enjoying our stay with our friends Lars and Christine. Needless to say, we have had the best Greek food ever!!! Today, we are being invited by their friends for lunch. A typical Greek lunch with a Greek family. We trekked early this morning by the marina to buy fresh fish from the fishermen and we are now having Greek coffee at this internet cafe across the street.

More later...the fish needs to be taken home and cleaned.
