Finally home in Tahoe

We arrived in San Francisco Thursday night. We drove back home early morning as our dogsitter Diane is going to Sedona with her dog DOG for a nice vacation. She timed it so she could take care of Nikita while we travel and she takes hers afterwards.

TAKEN AT COPENHAGEN AIRPORT.
I think Matt wants proof of all the food I consumed during this trip. Well...you can tell where it all went. And it was worth it! I enjoyed every morsel, especially the bread. I don't know how many different kinds I sampled. They are just sooooo good!

It is now 3:05 am on Sunday morning. A few hours ago, I submitted the last of my school project which means---- my semester is over! Woohoo!!! I have two weeks before my summer semester starts but I might skip that and take time off. Will probably spend my summer putting together all the video footage we took.

It was so hot when we arrived in San Francisco. 99 degrees!! (Isn't that the name of a boy band??). And it is just perfect here in Tahoe. Nikita was so happy to see us, although Diane didn't bring her back until late afternoon. I thought she wanted to leave early for Sedona but she decided to delay a day, which of course meant she wanted to keep Nikita for the rest of the day. As long as my dog is happy....

Now we have to take care of the house here. Lots of cleaning to do. We are driving back to San Diego on May 28. I had to be at a conference on May 29 so we need to leave early. Ten days (or less) to take care of a LOT of things before we close down for the summer.

In the meantime, I will enjoy lounging on my favorite couch, watching taped episodes of my favorite shows Grey's Anatomy, Women's Murder Club, CSI and all the other wacky shows on TV.

Matt's been busy already, turning the sprinkler system on and cleaning up the yard. Sort of.

It always feels good to be back home after a long trip!

PS

The only depressing thing about being back home is that all your pictures show how much weight you have gained!
